Probably depends on the car. Just for looks is probably the biggest reason. Though I've noticed that base model BMWs are vastly more likely to be de-badged than higher ones. Go figure. I'm far too lazy to de-badge my cars.

2014年10月10日 · Goo gone is perfect for the excess adhesive left on the car, and 3M make an adhesive remover as well. Both can be found in the auto parts aisle. Spray it on, let it swell, then wipe it away. If done correctly, and your paint is in good shape, there will be little reason to need a machine polisher after you debadge.

I’ve always been a follower of the whole “debadging a car is stupid” crowd. Makes literally zero sense to me. I’ve never heard a good argument to debadge. I mean it’s your car, do what you want. But if I go look at a car to buy and it’s debadged in some way I’m just turning around leaving. I won’t even entertain it. Tasteless.

TOS states in lamen terms: Debadging is not enough, i believe car models have to be changed to over 30% of the original look. So thats front end, rear end and some other corners. Most models are locked, you break copyright by ripping locked models from other creators if you get caught.

2017年8月4日 · It is advertising, pure and simple, and it looks like an afterthought that is "slapped on" as car rolls off the line. It clutters up the car and is a distraction. It draws the eye to interrupt the flow of the lines and make you recognize the brand. I think that removing the badges gives the car a cleaner look.

Neighbours cat (absolutely annoying, disgusting creature) pissed on the badge on the front of my car and ruined the tape holding it on. My advice while I’m also working on fixing my own badge, use a bit of wax and grease remover to remove the tape/glue and give the surface a clean before fixing the new badge on

A car person knows when they see an m3, and an average person doesn’t know the difference. So all you’re doing is lying to yourself whilst outing yourself to the car people at the same time.
