This morning i plugged in head phones to my computer and for some reason they were not showing up in my play back devices. The only thing there was my computer sound. I did not know what to do and in the process of trying t fix the problem I accidentally deleted or disabled my conexant HD audio driver or something.

You can also check device manager to see if your sound devices are showing there and if there are any errors. Go to Start button. In the start search dialog box, type in device manager. Then double click on it to open. Scroll to find Sound, video and game controllers. Expand the arrow. Double Click to open your sound device.

2018年1月17日 · Many annoying problems with sound devices lately! Make sure the speakers are set as Default device in Playback Devices reached by right clicking the Volume icon in System tray. 2018年1月8日 · You can Check for Updates at Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update to see if it provides a Sound driver when it scans to notice it's missing. You can also right click Start button to open Device manager, choose Sound device, then Driver tab, then Update driver automatically. See if it receives the driver from Windows Updates.
