May 28, 2016 · The highlight tool is improved in the latest release and now you can highlight even on Scanned Pdf and images. On Scanned pdf and images the highlight will work same as freehand with a new cursor (Ball shape) icon to identify it . For normal Text highlight will work in old manner with a different cursor icon (I shape) when you hover mouse on text.

Dec 27, 2018 · In some cases I need to delete the highlighted text also. When I try deleting the highlighted text, the highlighted area still remains on the page (text gone). So it looks like a yellow rectangle still there where the text used to be. I cannot seem to find a way to select it. Even when I reopen the doc, the leftover yellow highlight is still there.
