If you don’t have one already, get a Mosin tool and check the firing pin protrusion. Once you do that then you should be gtg for sending hot lead down range. Make sure the bore is clear, then just shoot it.

2009年6月11日 · Don't carry with a chambered round. The mosin's pin protrudes through the face of the bolt when the bolt is decocked. It's how you check the firing pin protrusion with the gauge that comes in the kit. I'll post a short video on youtube presently.
To load the Mosin-Nagant rifle, open the bolt by lifting the bolt handle up, then pull the bolt all the way to the rear until it stops. Ammunition can be loaded one cartridge at a time, or from stripper clips which hold five rounds. The rifle is loaded from the top by pushing cartridges into the magazine when the bolt is open.
