2020年7月28日 · The only thing that worked for me, And I mean THE ONLY THING. Was to use a VPN. Not a fucking clue why, but after HOURS of troubleshooting and scouring the internet for every solution, turning on expressvpn brought my download speed from like 100KB/s to 13MB/s.

2024年5月16日 · Update speeds on PC are incredibly slow. I've been downloading a 500mb update for an hour and it still have 100mb to go. Just sitting at 0mb/s for 10min at a time for it to actually download at 30mb/s (a fraction of my speed on steam) for 20 seconds at a time.

2023年4月19日 · It is like this all the time. Every Fortnite update takes forever. It has to be on Epics end. Any game I update on Steam or the EA launcher always updates with my regular internet speed. And it's only on pc. My son plays Fortnite on Switch and my daughter on PS4. Neither of them take anywhere near as long as it does on my pc.

2023年4月11日 · It'd open the Epic Launcher instead of Fortnite and prompt me to update, and if I did it that way it'd install all of Fortnite plus the update (The recent one was a 45GB update when the update was really only around 4GB) Fix: Cancel the update, then start it again from in the Epic Games Launcher.
