2022年6月19日 · As far as I know, the .Mbox format can be opened by Apple Mail and other mail clients, but unfortunately Microsoft Outlook doesn't seem to open directly on Windows. But the file I just brought over to my iMacs desktop can be seen it is greyed out and cannot be selected. How the heck do I bring these folders of email messages into Outlook?

2023年2月28日 · You should be able to open / import them with em even though the association is notepad. To remove it, you need to edit the registry. Check the extension in both of these keys - Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes. But honestly - I would try importing in em and if it works, don't worry about the file association.

I don't know of any mail client that both understands mbox format and can connect to Outlook.com with a two-way connection allowing uploading messages. I can think of a drawn-out way to transfer the messages utilizing gmail, however. How important is it to you to put your old messages on Outlook.com?

When I travel I copy my desktop outlook.pst file to my laptop which uses a much older version of Outlook and once I am home move the pst file back to my desktop. I am interested in Microsoft Office 2024. Can I own a copy of that on my laptop and have Office 2021 on my desktop?
