What do you mean by "fairly top tier"? I'd love to hear from anyone who has success hosting large-ish Zoom meetings on Chromebooks about what actual hardware they're running. I had to buy a new Windows machine during the pandemic because my (now old) chromebook simply choked miserably. Despite it meeting the stated system requirements.

2021年2月10日 · The new Zoom feature to just blur your background in the virtual background tab shows up for me on my PC, and many of my friends. But a handful it doesn't appear. They are definitely on the newest update. I can't find any info from Zoom support on the feature being limited in roll out.

Make sure your Chromebook has at least 4 GB of RAM. I tried using Zoom with a Chromebook that has 2 GB and I got choppy audio and video. I ended up having to turn off my video to get decent performance. And, I would get a Chromebook is running low on resources notification.

If your Chromebook doesn't have a Screenshot key , press Shift + Ctrl + Show windows . If your external keyboard doesn't have a Show windows key , press Ctrl + Shift + F5.

2020年5月27日 · As per my Zoom CSM, there is currently no background support for ChromeOS and not expected in the future due to ChromeOS being a browser based OS. IMO this is going to be an industry wide issue as more and more companies adopt ChromeOS for remote workers who need Zoom for remote work. Especially in the Telemedicine space.

2022年3月21日 · I don't have to use zoom. I can certainly put Linux on there to reduce memory requirements. But I need all the hardware to be the same, otherwise it gets complicated fast. I want them to be able to use a mouse to control my screen. The kids with laptops do a lot better than kids with the ipads. But I need to be able to lock it down.

One gentleman wants to use his Chromebook for the class to share audio and video. Unfortunately it seems like the Zoom app on Chromebooks doesn't allow audio share.
