2019年8月9日 · Does anyone know how to remove old Expanding foam from brickwork. I recently removed some framework and the gaps around the edge were filled with expanding foam. This somehow got onto the brick work. It pretty old foam, ive picked off a lot of it but there is still some left. Anyone give me a few ideas to remove it.

2005年2月2日 · top tip for foam removal from hands is acetone, which may well be bad for the skin, but so is trying to scrub the stuff off. this should also clean nozzles etc. nail varnish remover is basically acetone, if you wondered where to find it (ie in your make up bag).

2010年3月30日 · 1. Buy foam cleaner. 2. When finished with foam remove from gun and attach foam cleaner 3. Spray until cleaner comes out of gun, then spray on foam can to remove excess 4. Spray into can top so you can dip the gun end in the cleaner to clean. 5. Remove cleaner can and tip contents of top onto it to clean that. Sounds difficult - takes 30 seconds.

2019年1月30日 · If you wanted to be even tighter you could squirt the foam along the 6" width of the skirting at 400-600mm centres rather than along the length and save a pound or two extra. Not much point foaming the arcs on, you need a couple of pins to secure them in place anyway so may as well just omit the foam and pin the lot.

2019年11月9日 · Just lightly mist the walls/boards with water and use a low expanding foam. Follow the instructions (especially with regard to waiting) and don't get it anywhere else - it's not easy to clean off. You need some heavy weights to hold the board in place whilst it cures.
