This is a slow growing Hoya with fantastic leaves. It is March of 2011 and it is preparing to flower for the first time. I received it as a cutting around three years ago.

Hoya cv. Jennifer is thought to be a hybrid of incrassata X finlaysonii. It has beautiful, robust, veiny leaves. This is a strong plant and relatively easy to grow and flower.

Hoya 'Jennifer' is a suspected cross between Hoya incrassata and Hoya finlaysonii, hybridized by Michael Miyashiro in Hawaii in 1995. The leaves are dark green, have a rough surface with visible even darker green veins.

Hoya Jennifer is such a lovely hoya! She isn’t the fastest grower, but her gorgeous leaves and blooms surely make up for it. These plants are a year old now, the slowest part is over, and these are ready to take off!

The Hoya Jennifer is a wonderful hybrid of Incrissata x Finlaysonii. It’s leaf shape shows characteristics of the Incrissata while showing off its venation from the Finlaysonii.

Ornate and fleshy, up to 18cm x 6cm in size, dark green in colour framed with prominent darker venation. Scant splash and slightly pubescent on the underside. Blooms: Reflexed creamy-yellow flowers with delicious dark maroon tips, measuring 10mm across, with cream corona. Up to 30 flowers per umbel. Fragrant. Flowers last up to 5 days.
