I use my humvee mainly for off roading and gasoline engines in that setup just seems like you would be crippling the vehicle...

2016年12月21日 · So I've been looking into installing a four-speed in my Humvee. And the swap that everyone is doing is though is the 4L80E. The only issue with this is that it needs a computer to work properly and the computer to control it is expensive. So I've been looking cheaper alternatives and the only other transmission that I can think of is the 700R4.

2017年5月3日 · Well, after reading about the Meguiar's PlastX , I fired up the Humvee and went and got a bottle, this stuff is great, I tried with a rag but quickly used my 3' polisher. I spent about 10 mins per window, I did the insides and out I took before and after pics, nearly every mark came off, I have to give this stuff

2024年9月16日 · We will see, I really like the 6.6 L8T platform and most of the LQ engines I’m seeing around here look like rusty boat anchors. I’m planning on using 42” tires so the 6 speed would be pretty perfect for that. If I find a good clean LQ engine I’ll go that route though. Not going to make a decision till the Humvee is in my garage.

2023年1月20日 · As stated by Retired above, all the services now use the same colours on tactical vehicles. If your Humvee is green inside, it will be 34094. USMC green 34052 (or 24052) is only used on some non-tactical vehicles now, it would not be used on a Humvee. For clarification - 383 is the camouflage scheme of green/brown/black, not the individual colours.
