Others that the 6P3S-E compatible wth the 6L6GC and the 5881, others that it's only roughly similar to the 6L6G/GA/GB. Others state that the 6NC3 and the 6N3C-E are the same, but the E version a ruggedized version of the two.

2009年12月30日 · For 6P3S: You don't need to go too much further than the datasheet to identify the differences. I don't really understand what would mean between 6L6 and 6V6, but at least the -E designations are very good sounding and sturdy tubes.

2020年10月24日 · Are you using the 6P3s? or the 6P3sE? Both are rated for 20.5W plate dissipation, but the 'E' version is a completely different tube and can handle a lot more power and voltage. I wouldn't run the 6P3S version higher than about 350V «

2013年1月25日 · The 6P3S ran well at 360-380V at 45 ma with a 6.6K Raa load with minimal feedback. The 6P3S-E ran at 425V at 45ma again 6.6K Raa load with minimal feedback. When I changed out the outputs to 4.3k Raa, they both ran out of steam with volume. Great tubes for the price. I preferred the 6P3S-E for higher voltage capability.

If you’re not familiar with this tube type, the 6P3S-E is a rugged beam power output tube that can directly substitute for the 6L6, 6L6GB, 5881 and certain other 6L6 variants.
