Hyde Kido (城戸 (キド) 灰都 (ハイド)) is the main protagonist of UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH. He is the wielder of the legendary Insulator and a second year student at an unnamed high school. He was one of the twelve original characters introduced in the first version of the game.

One of Hyde's best moves, reaches far and leads to strong combos on hit. Good for catching opponents at neutral from a distance. Useful for confirming off far Orbiter hits and side swap combos.

2024年5月21日 · Hyde is the Under Night In-Birth series' resident shoto character, with tools associated with the role (fireball, meterless reversal, etc). He is a basic and well-rounded character who has a nice balance between offense and defense.

Hyde's life was saved by Linne, a strange girl he became acquainted with a few days earlier. Having awakened as an In-Birth, he is taken under Linne's wing and begins training under her and her companion Waldstein preparing himself for when the Hollow Night comes again.
