2024年12月15日 · I reinstalled my authenticator app and now I am unable to sign into my microsoft account. Whenever I try to sign in it tries to use use authenticator, which isn't working. When I select other methods such as my recovery email addresses or phone number, it refuses to send the code, claiming I have requested too many codes today (which is not true).

The only thing I can think of, is that I am now in Colombia (originally from Canada) and that is why it gave me the questionnaire or thought log ins were suspicious BUT It is me and I am residing temporarily in Colombia. Last time I logged in was around August 8th, 2023.

2025年1月14日 · I am experiencing the same issue on my phone as well. I cannot log in using either the "Outlook" or "Office365" options. However, I can log in using the "Exchange" option, but the problem there is that I cannot see shared calendars, which work perfectly in the web version of Outlook, where I have access to them.

Clearly people are trying to access my account and I believe there's no need to worry as the account is still secure as long as I just ignore the emails I'm getting.

I have an exclamation symbol by my profile photo, and a pop up that says that "there is a problem with my account, lets solve it." Or it says that there is a problem syncing my account.

2023年11月7日 · Under the user information, you will see an option to log out. In case it won't log out, log out of the account in your Settings > Email & account. Then locate the account and choose to log out. You can also check the Control Panel > User Account > Credential Manager. Then look for the account on Web and Windows credential and choose to log out.
