The Institut d'Anàlisi Econòmica (IAE-CSIC) is one of the institutions supporting the Fourth Catalan Economic Society Conference (CESC), which will be held at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (IEC) in Barcelona. The conference encompasses all fields of Economics.

The Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE) is a research centre of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). We are located on the campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The Institute was founded in 1985 and its mission is to promote research in economics.

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for a 1–3 year position starting Fall 2025 as part of a project at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Economics, led by Christopher Rauh (IAE-CSIC and BSE). This position offers a unique opportunity to work on pioneering research in an intellectually stimulating environment in Barcelona.

Our mission is to tackle pressing global challenges such as armed conflict, economic development and poverty, economic crises, political instability, and climate change through innovative approaches at the nexus of economics and artificial intelligence.
