IBGard for IBS with GERD? - Mayo Clinic Connect
2019年6月8日 · My GI has recommended an over the counter product called IBGard for my Irritable Bowel Syndrome. When he told me that it contained peppermint oil I expressed concern because I also have GERD and peppermint is a well known trigger for reflux.
My thoughts on IBGard : r/ibs - Reddit
2015年7月31日 · I've been trying IBGard also. It's expensive but somehow I feel it's stronger than the Heather's Tummy Tamers that I'd been using before. At first I didn't think it worked that well and then I read the box and it said you can take 1-2 pills up to 3 times a day; I'd only been taking one. 6 over the course of a day really help, but then a 48-count box ($33) only lasts 8 days, so …
Can IBGard be taken at the same time as Pantoprazole?
2021年7月15日 · Take IBgard® first and then take the acid reducer one hour later.* Acid reducers, such as antacids or H2 blockers, can lower the level of acid in the stomach, which may cause a premature release of peppermint oil from IBgard. 95% Cured (good enough)! IBgard update. : r/ibs - Reddit
2018年6月22日 · Well it's been a month since I've been using IBgard and happy to report that although I still have some degree of D during bowel movements, I experience ZERO bloating and only two BM's per day! At the risk of being too graphic, the D comes and goes, not sure what triggers it? In most cases it's D and some solids - odd. At first I took 3 pills a day for about the …
FDgard vs IBgard? : r/ibs - Reddit
2021年3月27日 · Which one should I get? FDgard or IBgard? My gastroenterologist gave me FDgard samples but she said I probably have some form of IBS. If that's the case, I would rather get IBgard instead but I don't really know if there's a difference between IBgard or FDgard chemical wise? Seems like both just have peppermint oil in them?

2022年7月27日 · Peppermint does help me, but IBGard itself was a no go. The capsules open in my esophagus or stomach instead of my intestines and cause a lot of irritation. I drink peppermint tea before or after meals and that sometimes works ok. I also have some peppermint oil candies formulated by a GI that I use when eating out that work ok as well.
