One such potential option is Heather's Tummy Tamer (9.00/30 day supply), but I am unable to find any actual comparisons between the two, or for other information on less costly, yet effective options.

Jun 7, 2023 · So, I decided to try taking the IBgard at night and first thing in the morning when I wake up. It started helping! I had fewer flares and they weren't as bad, when they did happen. I also have PCOS, so I drink spearmint tea. But it makes me sleepy, so I started drinking it at night. Miraculously, that seems to fortify the IBgard.

Sep 14, 2021 · IBGard is for the intestines and FDGard is for the stomach. Finally, do not expect immediate relief with IBGard, or any other type of peppermint pill that is enteric coated (enteric coating helps it get to your intestines and then release, rather in your stomach). It takes 2-4 weeks for results to actually be seen.

Jul 27, 2022 · Peppermint does help me, but IBGard itself was a no go. The capsules open in my esophagus or stomach instead of my intestines and cause a lot of irritation. I drink peppermint tea before or after meals and that sometimes works ok. I also have some peppermint oil candies formulated by a GI that I use when eating out that work ok as well.
