IC 447 is a reflection nebula located in the constellation Monoceros. [1] It includes several massive B-type stars and forms one end of the Monoceros R1 star-forming filament, with IC 446 at the opposite end. 2022年1月4日 · Here we have a beautiful blue little reflection nebula, with lots of visual interest. You don't see a ton of images of this object out there, so I thought I would give it a shot. The focal points for processing here were a) preserving color, and b) bringing in the faint stuff without causing the incredibly busy star field to overwhelm the image.

2015年11月24日 · Here’s a shot of IC 447, Dreyer’s Nebula, a reflection nebula in Monoceros. This area doesn’t seem to have been photographed much, probably because of the more spectacular Cone Nebula region which is just a couple of degrees to the east of IC 447.
