NGC 6726 & IC 4812 R Coronae Australis (Sean Liang) - AstroBin
The bright blue areas are reflection nebulas - a few bright stars caught up in large dusty clouds and illuminated their surroundings. The one on the left is IC 4812, and the one on the right is NGC 6726, NGC 6727 and NGC 6729. The boomerang-shaped dark dust lane in the middle is part of the dark nebula Bernes 157.
APOD: 2011 June 27 - Stars and Dust Across Corona Australis
2011年6月27日 · At its tip (upper right) is a group of lovely reflection nebulae cataloged as NGC 6726, 6727, 6729, and IC 4812. A characteristic blue color is produced as light from hot stars is reflected by the cosmic dust. The smaller yellowish nebula (NGC 6729) surrounds young variable star R Coronae Australis.
IC 4812 & NGC 6726/27 (Los_Calvos) - AstroBin
NGC 6726/6727 and IC 4812 are blue reflection nebulae, NGC 6729 is a butterfly-shaped object acting in emission/reflection around an irregular variable star R Coronae Australis (R CrA) discovered in 1866 with a magnitude varying from 9.7 to 13.5.

2021年9月13日 · Historical Identification: Per Dreyer, IC 4812 (= DeLisle Stewart #547, 1860 RA 18 51 37, NPD 127 15.0) is a "7th magnitude star involved in an extremely large nebula". The position precesses to RA 19 01 04.8, Dec -37 03 37, right on the double star that lights up the reflection nebula listed above, so the identification is certain.
