Service Dogs for America has 3 Inmate Canine Assistance Programs (ICAP) in ND correctional facilities. We are proud of all our working service dog teams throughout the United States.

At Service Dogs for America, our mission is to train and certify service dogs for individuals with disabilities. Applicants from the lower 48 United States will be considered, regardless of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

How will you know when your dog is ready to graduate from an “in training” status to the status of a full fledged assistance dog with whom you are entitled to have public access rights? An excellent tool for evaluating a team’s readiness to graduate (finish up formal training) is the Public Access Certification Test (PACT.)
