2014年5月29日 · Ehhhhhh - lots of variables involved. It depends of the time frame being talked about for one thing, and the kind of coin in the ICG slab. The old ICG was infamous for being overly optimistic with grades on modern coins. So the company as a whole took a bad rap. But with older coins they were usually every bit as good as NGC or PCGS.

2021年8月24日 · I just submitted 7 ICG crack outs to PCGS to be graded. All are nice IH and LW cents. My main motivations for switching TPGS are registry and resale. I plan on creating a new thread with the results after the grades come back. I'll probably post the TrueView photos and let everyone guess the ICG and PCGS grades.

The added benefit for you, as a member of CT., is one of the very experienced graders that is @ ICG is an active member here, and will help you with numismatic questions (and I would hope PMs) concerning your pieces graded by ICG.

2021年7月18日 · The ICG coins are part of several collections that are going to be passed on to my daughter and (hopefully) her children. If I had wanted to re-sell said coins, I probably would not have purchased ICG graded. The market perception is that NGC/PCGS are worth more (sell for more) than ICG or even ANACS graded coins.

2024年5月9日 · I was watching the TV when a show came on about coins. I bought 2 gold coins from the dealer. One coin was a 20 dollar gold coin. It came back not graded due to a couple of scratches on the face. The dealer offered to refund my money, including the cost of grading the coin. The other coin was a $10 gold coin. It came back MS62.
