Purpose: : To investigate the incidence and severity of glare and halo after ICL (Implantable contact lens) implantation and analyze the risk factors. Methods: : Medical charts of 55 eyes of 30 individuals who had undergone ICL implantation were retrospectively reviewed.

In this prospective study, disk halo size and pupillary light response with a vision monitor were measured preoperatively and at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months postoperatively.

2023年7月31日 · ICL-treated eyes had significantly less spherical aberration and coma (P < 0.01 and < 0.05, respectively) postoperatively. Halos were the prevalent visual disturbance in both groups. SMILE and EVO-ICL implantation provided safe and effective correction of high myopia. SMILE showed slightly better long-term predictability.
