The 39th International Multidisciplinary Conference on Recent Studies and Research, also known as ICMS XXXIX, was held at the University of London on May 24th and 25th, 2024. This recent conference offered both in-person and virtual attendance options.

As part of its work to promote the benefits of mathematics and mathematical education, the London Mathematical Society (LMS) has agreed to endorse a new initiative, being proposed by the International Centre for the Mathematical Science (ICMS), to deliver online colloquia to undergraduate students with a view to strengthening the research pipeline.

Professor Kim is the first full-time director of the ICMS and the first joint professor in the Maxwell Institute and will take up the post in September 2021. More details are available on the ICMS website
