Our ICO25 plan sets out: how we intend to achieve this by 2025. In doing so, it describes our purpose, objectives and values and the shift in approach we aim to achieve through the life of this plan. The environment in which we work is complex, fast moving and ever changing.

Our new strategic plan – ICO25 was published in July 2022. It describes our shift in approach and sets out: how we intend to achieve this by 2025. The environment we work in is complex, fast-moving and ever-changing.

2022年8月4日 · The strategic objectives set out in ICO25 are: (i) safeguarding and empowering people, particularly vulnerable groups; (ii) empowering responsible innovation and sustainable economic growth; (iii) promoting openness, transparency and accountability; and (iv) continuously developing the ICO's culture, capability and capacity.

After a six month listening exercise to hear directly from businesses, organisations and people, the ICO sees its purpose as empowering individuals through information. The plan sets out four strategic enduring "objectives" to support this purpose:
