Use a long extension, a 1 1/16th crowfoot, and a swivel to get the sensor loose. You'll need some long, nimble fingers to fish the sensor out.

2009年7月8日 · It never coded, ford couldn't find out what was wrong, they kept it for a week! I call my company fleet manager and explained what would cause this and he said the company quit sending the trucks to ford and just changed the ICP sensor themself because they couldn't wait a week for the truck.

2016年12月23日 · The important thing is to be sure the o-ring is in good shape and lubed on install. The o-ring is what does the sealing. The torque is just to keep it from backing out. Like RT said, it doesn't take much. Ford recommends thread locker on the HPOP hose fittings, and a dab on the side of the ICP sensor threads wouldn't hurt.

2013年4月17日 · The icp sensor reads the amount of pressure the HP pump is sending to the heads and he ICP relays the message to the ECM which in return controls the IPR valve ground side circuit with a pulse width modulated signal. depending on the signal the IPR will adjust the amount of oil that is dumped from the pumps output pressure.

I just bought Looney Wild for my truck a couple weeks ago and by the end of the week it had P2287 code saved and the truck felt like it had a lope tune on it.
