The AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo (Chinese: 經國號戰機; pinyin: Jīngguó Hào Zhànjī), commonly known as the Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF), is a multirole combat aircraft named after Chiang Ching-kuo, the late President of the Republic of China. The aircraft made its first flight in 1989.

F-CK-1經國戰鬥機 （英語： AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-kuo）是 中華民國 在 美國 技術協助下開發的一種輕型 超音速 多用途 噴射 戰鬥機，具備 視距外作戰 能力及冷艙啟動快速等特點；在 中華民國空軍 的規劃下，自製F-CK-1戰鬥機與向 法國 採購的 幻象2000-5戰鬥機 、向美國採購的 F-16A/B 戰鬥機，構成 中華民國國軍 防衛 臺灣海峽 制空權 的主力，其中F-CK-1型戰鬥機負責中低空防禦及部分對地攻擊任務。

IDF战斗机（英文：Indigenous Defence Fighter，又称：自制防御战机），是台湾在美国技术协助下设计开发的一种轻型超音速喷气式战斗机，具备视距外作战能力，针对目标为解放军大量装备的歼-7、歼-8战斗机和对地攻击飞机，力求在质量上取得优势。

2001年11月19日 · The Taiwanese Ching-Kuo Fighter is developed and manufactured by the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation based in Taichung. The aircraft is also referred to as the Indigenous Defence Fighter (IDF). The Ching-Kuo is an all-weather, multi-role fighter and is built in one-seater and two-seater configurations.
