The IFA F9, subsequently rebadged as the EMW 309, is a compact saloon manufactured under the auspices of the Russian and East German states between 1949 or 1950 and 1956. It was initially built at Zwickau at the plant previously owned by Auto Union .

2018年10月20日 · IFA, with its production spread across three sites, had only been able to turn out 1880 cars in three years of production. EMW would produce more than 39,000 cars over the same period. IFA had manufactured the F9 in two styles, a limousine (1627 examples) and a four-seat cabriolet (253 examples).
