2010年11月9日 · 1460 / 1440 both have the 436 motor. 60 has a turbo, 40 doesn't. 1460 also has heavier final drives but other than those two things the rest is the same. My understanding was the poster had his eye on a particular machine (1440).

2011年7月16日 · I originally bought the 1440 new in 1982 with the 20' 820 platform & a 944 cornhead. WEnt to 30" rows in '88 & traded for a 963 & ran it on the 1440 until I bought a 1660 in '92. Had to run a little slower with the 963 but IMO I had less trouble putting corn out the back with the 6 row head than when I was running the 4 row.

2006年1月30日 · Have the opportunity to purchase a 1981 IH 1440 combine. It's 4wd, has a turbo, bin extensions, and a chopper along with a 16.5 ft 820 flexhead. It has around 3500 hours but has seen excellent care and has had the rotor rebuilt within the last couple of years. It's also been shedded it's whole life.

2008年9月11日 · I recently purchased a 1440 axial flow combine and am getting it ready to use in this falls harvest. The combine has the large wire concaves and every other wire has been removed and it also has the multi purpose grates and the book says the channels are to be bolted on the inside of the grates for corn and the outside for grains.
