I had a 3-16's #312 many year ago. I pulled it behind a good, stout 450G and it was a pretty good match, power-wise. The worst thing about those plows is, as mentioned, they stick, solidly, straight out behind you and really whip around hard on the ends.

2008年7月7日 · Here are a few pictures of the 312 plow I had painted this past winter/spring. I thought I would take a few before I stuck it away in the corner of the old hog finishing building and it gets all dusty. Hopefully these pictures work.

the gold plows were made in the 460-560 era. they were ih's first try at a semimount plow. the 311, 411, 511 were fast hitch mounted; the 312, 412, 512 had the tail wheel to take some of the weight off the fast hitch. you can imagine the strain on a 560 rear end with a 5 bottom fully mounted plow hanging off it. i have a 412, but it is not gold ...

2009年10月31日 · Any ideas where I might be able to come up with a operator/owner manual for this plow. I was told it is a 312 by someone in the tractor photos listed under 1961 Farmall 560. So far I have been unsuccessful.

2018年1月13日 · I have an IH 400 with a 311 fast hitch plow that my dad bought. Three bottoms was all that it could pull in our red clay soil, especially if the ground was dry or packed down from chopping corn. It was mostly a traction problem rather than engine power.
