2007年1月26日 · 372, 406, and 450 are all 4.375 bore, and they take the same rod and main bearings. This would indicate they would have to have different strokes. The 501 is 4.5 bore, so I will guess it is the same crank as a 451.

The first IHC "Highwheeler" truck had a very simple air-cooled horizontally opposed two-cylinder engine with a 5-inch (130 mm) stroke and a 5-inch (130 mm) bore, and produced around 18–20 hp (13–15 kW). Displacement was 196 cubic inches (3.2 L). [2] . In 1915 a new L-head water-cooled 201 cubic inches (3.3 L) inline-four engine appeared. [3] .

2004年10月14日 · Red Diamond engines were produced from 1940-1975. Displacements were 361,372,401,406,450 and 501 cubic inches. They were installed in trucks as well as heavy equipment,such as road graders and rollers. If you are looking for an updraft manifold, try heavy equipment bone yards. Got my last one from a roller.

2012年1月7日 · These were good solid engines well respected in the medium and heavy duty trucks from the late 40's to the late 60's as new and years later as old equipment. I still see some listed on ebay as fire truck engines. Were these engines used in industrial apps other than water pumps and generaters?

2019年10月2日 · I'm not sure if all the RD series engines are the same size, but if someone has a 406, would you be willing to measure from the back of the head to the water pump pulley?
