2012年1月22日 · IMR 4064 @ 43.0 to 44.0 usually works nicely for the 165 to 175 bullets. The different varieties of makers bullets vary about 1/2 grain between them based on equal velocity. Spent some time in the southern states and a lot of time …
.223 and IMR 4064 | Sniper's Hide Forum
2008年6月18日 · Re: .223 and IMR 4064 23.6-24.0 is the accuracy range that I found good results from with 75 Amax's. It's a bit on the slow side for 55's, BLC2 or H335 would be a better choice and they meter a whole lot better.

Varget vs IMR 4064.....H4350 vs IMR 4350 | Sniper's Hide Forum
2012年4月11日 · We all agreed we leaned towards Varget for temp sensitivity issues, BUT most of us agreed our overall accuracy was best with the trusted old powder, IMR 4064. And many days, IMR 4064 has given us phenomenal results. Eventually we lead into the H4350 vs IMR 4350 and we all agreed that the IMR gave better accuracy too.
imr 4064 in 308 - Sniper's Hide Forum
2003年7月9日 · Re: imr 4064 in 308 The short answer to your question is YES,its ok.My favorite load is 46.0gr with a 150 gr bullet for deer. This is too hot for some rifles, but is safe in mine.Comes up on the neck about 3/4 of the way on my LC-match cases. You can get more in the case with a longer drop tube on your funnel,or by trickling it in more slowly.IMR-4064 has always been one of the favorites for a ...
.308--IMR 4895 vs. IMR 4064? | Sniper's Hide Forum
2008年10月23日 · Re: .308--IMR 4895 vs. IMR 4064? IMR 4895 is almost as good as Hodgen's 4895. Why? Hodgen 4895 has the same temp insinsitive properties as Varget, burns slightly faster, and meters jsut as good if not better, can be used equally good in 308, 5.56, and most other rifle battle and intermediete calibers in bolt or semi

2013年5月30日 · Following with interest in your results. I'm in search of a .308 caliber bullet that will work equally well in an AR10, FNFAL and M1 Garand. Ballistic tipped bullets not making the grade. Probably end up with a 168gr bullet based on testing thus far. Just got some IMR 4064 to try out. Have IMR 4895 and Varget on hand to compare.
New load development: 168 SMK with IMR 4064 - Sniper's Hide
2008年6月23日 · New load development: 168 SMK with IMR 4064 I would work with 44 grains and fine tune it in .1 grain increments. From 43.7-44.4grains Also the 42 grain fine tuning from 41.7-42.4 grains in .1 grain increments It might be that 42grains +/- is your lower node and 44grains +/- is your high node.
IMR-4064 vs ACCURATE 4064 | Sniper's Hide Forum
2013年3月21日 · I should mention that I would be reloading for my Rem. 700 308 Tactical with the 20" bull barrel using 165-175gr bullets. Also, according to Hodgdons burn rate chart AA4064 is 2 numbers slower then IMR-4064 but also 2 numbers faster then Hodgdons Varget. Thanks
