IMR Hi Skor 700x for .357 - Ruger Forum
2009年3月25日 · WT, I don't load with this powder but web search finds plenty of support for its use as a handgun cartridge powder. For instance one reloading specialty site says: "IMR (Formerly Du Pont) HI-SKOR 700X - A clean-burning, double-base powder, this propellant is useful for a wide range of handgun and rifle cartridges."
.357 load with 700x - Ruger Forum
2014年7月5日 · IMR 700x is a fast powder & in my opinion not suited for jacketed loads if max fps is the intended purpose. I do use it for lead boolit loads & can reach 1k safely . It`s in the same burn category as WW231/HP-38 & gets a little pressure spikey when loaded heavy . It burns clean with little smoke ,but is kinda flashy in low lighting .
reloading hi-skor 700x in 9mm - Ruger Forum
2015年3月8日 · 700X works fine in the 9mm, but I'd stay away from max loads as it's pretty quick on the burn rate spectrum. I never loaded bullets above 115gr, cast or jacketed. It's an economy powder in my experience. I loaded for reliable function + a tiny bit in my 9's, and it burned cleanly, with accuracy as good as any.

2013年12月2日 · I think mine are something's 5.3 grains of IMR-800X with 235grain FMJ round with most large primer and some small primer. I have also been using IMR-700X for 40 and 9 but those are in the 4 grain range and both the 700 and 800 are difficult to measure in very small quantities due to the shape, they are both small flat flakes which tend not to ...
700x metering problems - Ruger Forum
2014年4月23日 · I use the Lee auto disk and with both 700X and 800X the metering is not as consistent as I would like but I don't need hyper accuracy as long as I am in the safe zone. I do have to try a few different volume measurements to get the grains that I want - so I measure the first few throws till it is maybe +/- 0.2 grains or less - then check maybe ...
800-X load - Ruger Forum
2014年4月17日 · The issue I am concerned with is the charge wt of 800-X. I have the latest Speer, Hornady, Sierra and Nosler manuals. None of the new manuals have load data for IMR 800-x. I chose to go to the old Speer #11 manual and use the data they listed for the bullet I was using. Bullet: Speer 230gr TMJ RN Primer: CCI 300 Powder: 800-X(Hi Skor) 8.2gr ...
Imr 800x - Ruger Forum
2012年9月12日 · I have used 700X and 800X for .380, 9mm, .40 and .45 - it does not meter well for me below about 3 grains - and if loaded towards the low end of the range doesn't produce enough recoil for semi-autos with heavy slides/recoil springs.

Shotgun reloading questions | The High Road
2012年11月21日 · This is how I got into reloading. For Christmas one year my late father got me a LEE Load AAll II, some wads, IMR 700x, CCI 209 primers and a 25LBS bag of shot. Like a fool I got rid of the Lee loader:banghead: as I was far more enamored with rifle reloading. Thankfully for me the Lee Load All...
