Ip Chun[a] (born Ip Hok-chun; [b] 10 July 1924), [1] also known as Yip Chun or Yip Jun, is a Chinese martial artist and actor in the style of Wing Chun. He is the elder of two sons.

2020年10月30日 · In 1924, Mr Ip Chun was the elder son of Master Ip Man, the grandmaster of Wing Chun martial arts. His childhood was quite well-off until the age of 14, when Foshan was occupied by the Japanese and the Ip family fortune dwindled.

2024年9月28日 · 叶准（Ip Chun，1924年7月25日—），出生于广东佛山， 中国武术家， 世界咏春联会主席，咏春拳 叶问 宗师之子 [1]。 叶准七岁起随父亲学习咏春拳。 1962年，赴港定居后继续随父修炼拳艺 [2]。 1972年，叶问去世后，叶准和弟弟 叶正 继承父业，致力推广咏春拳术。

Ip Chun is the current chairman of the World Wing Chun Union; he and his disciples have over 3000 Wing Chun associations in more than 60 countries. In recent years, Ip Chun has been promoting Wing Chun in China and supporting the promotion of Luocun’s Wing Chun.

From 2001 onwards, Mr Ip started to take Wing Chun back to China by touring and lecturing in the mainland. Mr Ip is celebrated worldwide for his role in upholding the proud tradition of Ip Man Wing Chun, an essential part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Hong Kong in particular and Chinese culture in general.

Today at over 90 years of age, Grandmaster Ip Chun is one of the most successful Wing Chun teachers in Hong Kong teaching five days a week to individuals at his home or to small groups at the Ving Tsun Athletic Association, as well as teaching a class in Shatin once a week.
