2023年1月29日 · This pistol might be good enough for steel target types of competition (IPSC etc) but it sucks at bulls-eye. Why did S&W put so much slop into the frame to slide mating surfaces? Even my Glock G20 doesn't have any noticeable slop compared to this Competitor.
Are Red Dot/Green Dot optics really worth it?
2025年1月9日 · I have an Aimpoint Acro P1 on my Sig M17. With it I am able to shoot with both eyes open and make consistent hits on metal IPSC plates at 75 yards. I still carry and shoot revolvers/pistols with iron sights. I'm just not as effective nor as quick as with the red-dot sights. Be advised however, there is a learning curve with these sights. HTH. 2023年3月20日 · You can buy a 1911 frame from anyone of the after market makers and then using spare parts assemble the kit onto a complete lower. But the accuracy of a 22 conversion kit is problematic at best. The only way to make a 1911 assembly into a target pistol in 22 is to use a Kart 22 conversion or one of the similar built specialty units.
