The ISPO UK Member Society (ISPO UK MS) is one of the largest branches of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) – a global, multidisciplinary, non-governmental organisation aiming to improve the quality of life for persons who may benefit from prosthetic, orthotic, mobility and assistive devices.

The ISPO Member Society in the United Kingdom was established in 1972. It is an active society with approximately 200 members. During the course of 2020/21, as with all organisations, we have dramatically changed the way we communicate with members and host events.

Membership of ISPO is open to all individual professionals, associations, organizations, and institutions with a bona fide interest in prosthetics, orthotics, wheelchairs, assistive devices, rehabilitation engineering and related subjects, who support its missions and goals.

ISPO-accredited P&O training programmes worldwide with 5000+ qualified graduates. Every two years, the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) invites professionals involved in the support of persons in need of prosthetic, orthotic, mobility, and assistive devices to its unique and interactive flagship meeting, the I.S.P.O. World Congress.

Complete an ISPO course to earn credits and receive a certificates of completion after passing the course quiz. Watch webinars from ISPO national member societies from around the globe. Case studies are submitted by our members and are ISPO approved, offering you in-depth, quality knowledge.

ISPO is an international multidisciplinary society and we strongly encourage and welcome membership from all disciplines across the rehabilitation community. As a member of ISPO UK you become part of a global community spanning in excess of 100 countries with 3,300 members.
