ISR produces a wide range of master cylinders, everything from the smallest rear brake cylinder to the advanced multi adjustable racing radial cylinders. We've got calipers for show and calipers for extra heavy duty applications. 2-, 4- or 6-piston calipers proven both on the race track as well as on the bike shows.

We established a new factory at the Swedish island Gotland, where we started a production line for master cylinders. ISR set up a new factory at the present address in Tumba, Stockholm. The complete line of brakes was now produced using billet aluminium instead of earlier cast magnesium. The first billet aluminium 4-piston caliper was made.

ISR Brakes was founded in 1968 as a manufacturer of high quality motorcycle parts, manufacturing their first master cylinder way back in 1972. ISR Brakes from Sweden are very high quality and rugged systems designed for top racers who demand the best performance and durability from their brake systems. Race proven, all ISR brake systems are CNC machined from aerospace quality billet aluminum and then finished with a clear anodized coating for the ultimate in corrosion protection.

ISR brake systems are a great choice for racing, street, or that custom project. Available in brake (RH) or clutch (LH) master cylinders and 17.5mm, 15.87mm, or 14mm bores. The 21-012 front master cylinder is specifically designed for Supermoto, Street Fighter, or custom motorcycles.

No matter if you re riding an ultra fast 800 bhp drag bike or if you re riding a true chopper with no front brake ISR have the calipers for you. The top of the line is the monoblock six piston caliper that we started to develop in the late -80 s, with customers like Eddie Lawson, Wayne Rainey and the Yamaha factory racing team.
