The Institute of Technology of Cambodia is recognized as the top leading the public higher education institution in engineering and technology in Cambodia. The Institute was founded in 1964 as Institut Technique Supérieur de l’Amitié Khméro–Soviétique (ITSAKS), in cooperation with the Soviet Union from 1964 to 1975 and from 1980 to 1991.

The Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC; Khmer: វិទ្យាស្ថានបច្ចេកវិទ្យាកម្ពុជា; French: Institut de Technologie du Cambodge), known for short as Sala Techno (Khmer: សាលាតិចណូ; lit. 'Techno School'), is a higher education institution in Phnom Penh, Cambodia that trains students in science, technology and engineering.

Our goal is to provide students with a high quality education in the fields of engineering sciences and technologies. Students are provided with technical know-how and skills of analysis which allow integration and evolution in the labor market. Industrial and mechanical educations, at the tertiary level, have begun in Cambodia since 1999 with the establishment of Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering (GIM) at Institute of Technology of Cambodia campus in Phnom Penh.

Research and Innovation Center (RIC) of ITC was officially established in 2015 by Ministry of Education Youth and Sport of Cambodia. The main vision of RIC is to become the leading center in engineering and technology for research and to translate the research results for social benefit applications such as commercialization or policy development.

Our main mission is to produce highly qualified graduates from both undergraduate and higher education in computer science. Meanwhile, we also focus on both providing professional ethics and encouraging patriotism. We value the most professionalism, morality, and patriotism.

It is a 5-year engineer’s degree program and equivalent to a master’s degree of engineering (M1) in cooperation with international partner universities in France, Australia, the EU, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. It is a double degree program from which graduating students receive 2 degrees from ITC and international-partner universities.
