Colder intake air will be more dense and make more oxygen available for combustion with the fuel. If two engines are running the same EGT, the one with the lower IAT will be producing more power or be getting better fuel mileage. Jake

2010年10月27日 · IAT should have little effect on egt's since the max cylinder temperature is reached either way, but efficiency will likely change with IAT which may play with egt's some. Sounds like you might be off the compressor map if your getting a big jump in tempature from a small change in boost.

2012年5月9日 · I don't know if anyone is interested but I'm in the process of connecting OEM EGT sensor from 3.0 TDI to the wiring harness of msa15 ECU of my old warhorse Seat Toledo. First it might be easiest to put it in place of the IAT sensor and recalibrate the sensor and diagnostic.
