2021年6月2日 · I just posted a video on Youtube about a dedicated sequencer for the IC-9700. It is based on an Arduino and the "I-SEQ" software developed by EA7HG. I-SEQ via the C-IV port of the IC-9700, will switch to transmit / receive, enabling / disabling LNA and PA depending on the band in which it is transmitted.

2021年12月2日 · Icom has released a new program for Windows and Android to allow you to update the clock of your USB enabled Icom radio from your computer. The manual states that this works for the Icom 705, 7100, 7300, 7600, 7610, 7850/51, and 9700. It is a simple little program and worth checking out. Here is a video I made about it:

2019年1月20日 · The IC-9700 is available in Japan with a list price of $1725 USD. The difference is that it is only 50Watts on VHF and the TX frequencies are locked to the Japan standard: 144-146 mhz and 430-440 mhz and cannot be modified without swapping the main CPU. This is by Japanese law and nicknamed the "J" mark.
