2022年4月1日 · This paper has proposed a novel approach to understanding the underlying geometric rule in traditional Chinese ice-ray lattices using fractal geometry and then parametrically modeling different types of ice-ray lattice designs using the Iterated Function System (IFS), a fractal-making recursive algorithm.

I have travelled through China and taken many photos of lattice in the touristy and not so touristy areas. It is great spotting the manhole cover in Melbourne with the design.
