The Icom IC-T22A is a 2 meter handheld with many advanced features. You get 80 regular memory channel or 40 alphanumeric memory channels (up to six characters). There are also 5 DTMF memory channels for codes up to 30 digits long. The memories which are stored in an EE-PROM that ensures your information will remain even if the batteries go dead.

The IC-T22A is very well built, fits very nicely in my hand, easy to operate, has a manual squelch, and a very good but long antenna. It's design makes very good use of the battery packs with lower mAh ratings. The battery is the full bottom of the HT so it stands stable.
