2021年3月9日 · I wanted to go with the same upgrade (ID4 -> ID5) not for the navigation but mostly for the carplay features. I have at the moment an 116d 02.2017 and from what I can tell (waiting for my ENET cable and the wifi dongle) I have the entrynav HU with BMW pro radio.

2018年3月22日 · There are no hardware differences between ID5 and ID6, the changes are handled via coding. There is a hardware difference between older ID4 units, which only have 2GB of memory, VS 4GB of memory in the newer units. Simply FDL code HMI_ID_VERSION to 'id6_light' and you will get the large active tiles.

2016年1月28日 · There are two possible values: id4_plus_plus and id5, and i have currently set it on id4_plus_plus. I am pretty sure that id5 is related to the new iDrive menu. Anybody did try that, yet?
