Iggy wasn’t ugly as ass in the OVA and he looked like a real dog Star platinum’s color pallet was near perfection only being topped by his HFTF colors And the best thing is the fact that in the OVA when the world stops time it’s silent instead of a bass boosted fart and it’s legitimately creepy sometimes

I feel like the OVA was more interesting in quite a few parts, mainly in that part 3 dragged on for way too long with the “villain of the week” formula. Iggy’s death being more brutal could’ve worked well if it was mixed with the emotional version in the anime, though I could also see it being too hard to actually pull off.

Jotaro and Joseph can be separated from Avdol, Iggy, and Polnareff, though I don't know that'd happen without D'Arby The Gamer. Jotaro and Joseph's interaction with each other can take place over the Vanilla Ice fight.

2018年8月25日 · The OVA really shafted Iggy by the way, in the OVA he never gets his 2nd design, fight with Pet Shop, or even gets a proper death scene, Vanilla Ice chops his lower half off then kicks his corpse. While we're on that subject, Polnareff just straight up decapitates Vanilla Ice in the OVA after he kills Iggy rather than bring him out into the sun.

2019年11月20日 · Iggy was there for only a half of SC and the characters themselves didn't get very attached to him (with the exception of Polnareff and sorta Avdul). I'm not saying that Iggy's death was bad, I'm saying that it wouldn't have been as good as it would've been if they used his less human-like design .

Fun fact: in OVA, Avdol gave Iggy all the gum he has before entering Dio’s mansion, knowing this very well be their final destination. He even promise to bring Iggy back home in America if they survive the battle. Vanilla Ice says nuh uh.

2016年9月22日 · After reading the manga, seeing the recent anime, I then went on to finish the OVA (Stopped at D'Arby before switching to the anime) thought the subtle differences were okay for some episodes of the OVA until I saw how Iggy and Avdol are slayed horribly. Iggy should've been dead by that cut but nope he suffered.
