Rename of the institute to Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences was taken place in July 2009, after the integration of Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah College of Nursing with the Institute of Medicine.

This study aims to evaluate the trends in IHD burden across different socioeconomic regions using data from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021 (GBD 2021) and to understand the impact of the metabolic risk factors on these trends.

Using the Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) Results Tool, we extracted data on the incidence, mortality, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs), and age-standardized rates related to IHD, as IHD burden measures. Trend analyzes were conducted for major regions.
