While you must be signed in as an administrator to install ImDisk and create a RAM disk, all users will be able to use the RAM disk. I downloaded a trial copy of SoftPerfect's RAM disk software. It looked pretty good until I rebooted and got a BSOD - that's all it took for me to uninstall it. I saw the tutorial for ImDisk and that looks promising.
