In LyX I enter a figure/graphic at the end of a paragraph using Insert > Float > Figure. I assume this is the command that I want since I want to include a graphic with a description (please let me know if there's a better command for this).

2010年11月16日 · I usually delete those long paths, put all my images in (say) an /img subdirectory of where the bar.lyx file is, then in the figure float put simply img/foo.jpeg. This is really handy for moving around several computers. I am afraid you can't just copy-paste pictures in to the .lyx file, unfortunately.
