Indústria de Material Bélico do Brasil (English: Brazilian War Material Industry), or IMBEL for short, is a Brazilian partially state owned, partially public, arms manufacturer originally founded in 1934 by Jorge Coscarelli, before being taken over by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense in 1975.

Designed and originally built by Fabrique National (FN) the FAL has been used by over 90 countries military's at one time or another making it the most widely used automatic battle rifle of all time (AK-47 is the most widely used battle carbine). 2023年4月2日 · Tested and sighted in Imbel gear logo on Imbel kit. Almost forgotten how easy it is to sight in. Elevation was correct, windage good. Think I am done with DSA uppers. Imbel twice the price but worth it! Can't believe they have not listened to Mark and made the correction. Got the upper and other parts on forum. Thanks to the members!

2024年8月10日 · Takes only a little time with a dremel to convert an IMBEL type 3 lower to match the type 1 or 2 upper profile. And it's purely a cosmetic issue. Factory IMBELs are correct in type 1, 2, or 3, with 3 being the overwhelming majority of the parts kits.
