Giulio Romolo Caccini (also Giulio Romano) (8 October 1551 – buried 10 December 1618) was an Italian composer, teacher, singer, instrumentalist and writer of the late Renaissance and early Baroque eras. He was one of the founders of the genre of opera, and one of the most influential creators of the new Baroque style.

Giulio Caccini, dit Giulio Romano, né le 8 octobre 1551 à Rome et mort le 10 décembre 1618 à Florence, est un chanteur, harpiste et compositeur italien de la fin de la Renaissance et du début de la période baroque. Il est le frère du sculpteur et architecte Giovanni Battista Caccini et père de la compositrice Francesca Caccini.
