I ran across this E-unit painted for the Indiana Railroad in EJ&E's Joliet yard in 2001. There were no numbers or anything else to identify this motor but a quick check on the googles and the interwebs indicated this was INRD E9 100, the former Milwaukee Road 36A. Why it was sitting in the middle of the EJ&E's Joliet facility is the mystery.

1990年10月6日 · INRD's E9 #100 brings up the rear of a dinner train excursion running south between Indianapolis and Bloomington. The crew paused the train here on Shuffle Creek Trestle for a few moments so that the foamers could get their fill of shots. The head end power going south was CF7 #200, just out of view off the bridge. Date is 10/6/90.
