1. Pick up fuel sender and slide the rubber gasket up to the bottom of the fuel sender flange. Next, slide the second flange over fuel sender to bottom of rubber rkmanship and materials for a period of 24 months after purchase. This warranty applies to the first retail purchaser and covers only those products exposed to normal use or service.

Before drilling any holes into tank, place the sender assembly on top of the tank to judge proper hole placement allowing float arm clearance inside of tank. Continental (VDO) recommends that the fuel sender and the fuel gauge be wired together and checked for compatibility prior to installing fuel sender into tank. FA15 March 2010

Custom installation is required with the universal fuel tank sending unit. Three of the five mounting holes will need to be slotted. This sender only works with VDO fuel gauges designed for the universal sender.

This fuel tank sender mounts with five mounting screws. It is adjustable to work on fuel tanks from 6 to 24 inches deep by cutting to length using the instructions included. Since fuel tank senders only read resistance to ground they work on all 6-24 volt systems positive or negative ground.
