I don't game so haven't noticed much benefit having it. The only consideration for a smaller NUC would be the shared RAM with the integrated graphics... so requiring minimum 32Gb RAM

2023年9月9日 · It also could just be Intel's notoriously buggy firmware. I'd avoid NUCs and just look into enterprise hardware for things like dual booting Linux and Windows on a SFF PC. I have a Lenovo P3 Ultra mini workstation (3.9L case) and it works great for that and is very stable.

2018年10月4日 · I knows this is already a known issue but it happened the same thing to me with my Intel NUC 11, I have an i7. After cleaning and replacing the thermal paste the temperature went from 70-80 to 50-70. Here's the temperature comparison before and after.

Both models have virutally identical cooling design, Pro's conservative 28W PL1 is intended to ensure sufficient thermal headroom to qualify for 24x7 operation.

2022年3月19日 · I installed the BIOS upgrade on Nuc11 enthusiast model and I am seeing a lot of improvements with Windows 11 and modern standby and normal standby which was not working previously. I still think there is some issue with PCI powersave disabling the sound card so you loose the first second or so when a sound is played after a silence time.
